Come and sing day- A Wonderful success

Our Come and sing day last Saturday was a joyful occasion.

The singing was excellent, the atmosphere warm and everyone clearly enjoyed the day.

we sang a sparkling mix of classics like:

The Black Hills of Dakota

i'm beginning to see the light

They can't take that away from me

The way you look tonight

it's only a painful moon

each piece brought out something different , warmth, Swing, elegance and plenty of smiles.

The blend of voices grew stronger throughout the day, and the final run-throughs were full of confidence and joy.

what made the event truly special was the atmosphere; friendly, relaxed, encouraging, and full of laughter.

We hope many of our visitors will join us again.

“Joining the Upchurch Choral Society will give you the opportunity to sing various musical genres. The sense of community, combined with the professional approach to music, is incredibly rewarding.”

About us

Founded in the small village of  Upchurch. The Choral Society has been at the forefront of local choral music for over 50 yrs, with a mission to promote choral singing and music education. Our choir is made up of members from various walks of life, united by a love for music and singing. We support the church choir at different events such as Good Friday, Remembrance and Nine lessons and carols on Christmas Eve. We believe in the power of music to connect people, transcend barriers, and enrich lives. At Upchurch Choral Society, we're more than just a choir; we're a community.
